In 2015 I started working at a paint and sip studio in Redondo Beach, California. If you don't know what a 'paint and sip' studio is it's an art studio where you get to paint a painting and drink wine! It's super cool and super fun. Working at the studio was great as I got to use my entertaining and host skills as well as my painting experience for over 15 years to lead people in a fun painting. This isn't fine art but it is a blast and creative! In 2017 I had the opportunity to buy the business from the former owners and put my own spin on it. I was and am so grateful for this opportunity. Since June 2017 the studio has undergone major improvements including remodeling and becoming kid and family friendly. The business has been a wonderful experience but has been a lot more work than I expected. I feel like a doctor sometimes... I'm always on call and the business never sleeps!
