Some of my favorite blooms that appear frequently in my paintings are peonies, roses, ranunculus, daisies, poppies and tulips but this piece features more rare blooms: magnolias and gardenias. I love that flowers represent growth, new beginnings, hope and optimism. My wish is that when you buy a piece of my art that hangs in your home and you walk past it on a regular basis that you take a moment to register the feeling it gives you—- the first thing that hits you is the happy colors and shapes which makes the corners of your mouth curl up.
