Why Easter bunnies mean something to me

Happy almost Easter, friends!

I thought we could all use some Easter cheer in these times of quarantine so I wanted to make something FREE for you all—an Easter card you can print and mail or hand deliver (although that might be hard in social distancing times but you could walk to a neighbors house and drop it in their box) to a friend or loved one.

A little backstory about me and bunnies first. I have always LOVED bunnies. I always collected bunny toys over teddy toys when I was a little kid. One of my mom’s friends gave me a stuffed animal bunny for my 5th or 6th birthday which looked a lot like the velveteen rabbit and I fell in love instantly. I named the stuffed bunny “Bunny” because I’m oh so original and I slept with that bunny every night until I started dating my now husband in my late twenties (embarrassing)! Can you believe that?

So when I started thinking about what I wanted to do to commemorate Easter 2020 painting a beautiful little bunny came to mind instantly.

I then turned the original painting into a digital downloadable file of the Easter greeting card. All you have to do is join my Pen Pal list and once you’re joined you will automatically get the FREE Easter bunny card which I’ll be sending out on Friday, April 3rd.

Then it’s just 1. download 2. print 3. cut 4. fold 5. SHARE your Easter bunny card!

Also, if you totally fell in love with the bunny painting and want to buy the original it’s available on my site HERE. This adorable bunny painting with flower crown is a 9x12 original on watercolor paper. Scroll down to see a photo of what the painting would look like framed. So cute!
