Day 51 thru 55 of 100 Day Project

Another week bites the dust! This week was filled with experiments and of course lots of color!! I tried something a little different and instead of a big arrangement of flowers I did mini floral arrangements coming out of champagne flutes and they’re very girly and very pink and very cute! I’m also loving the larger arrangement in the white vase on the turquoise table. This one I titled “Garden Party Extravaganza” because I think that really just speaks to the colors and the freedom in the piece. I can just see this piece inspiring the colors and festivities of an outdoor garden party. I also worked on an abstract piece which is loaded with color and blooms. All these pieces really speak to the boho and eclectic home. Lastly, this week I just really felt like going outside the 9x12 size so I painted an 18x24 large floral and I’m obsessed with it!! It’s so cool to see the scale ramped up A LOT! This piece was not planned but sometimes you just have to go with your gut and I’m glad I did because I love the results. This is the only piece that isn’t $100 because it is a much larger work but sometimes you just have to break the rules you’ve given yourself ;)
